Meet the Team

Pronouns: He, him, his

Eric works with all students. Prior to joining the CPD, Eric worked for the Positive Coaching Alliance, a non-profit founded at Stanford University that focuses on developing better athletes and better people through positive and character-building experiences. A former Division I ice hockey player at Brown, Eric has also worked in sports television production for three decades, including coverage of seven Olympic Games, the NFL, NBA, MLB and the NHL. He has won three Emmys for his TV work.

After graduating in finance from the University of Louisville, Leyou worked in corporate training and development at Allstate Insurance. There, Leyou facilitated learning sessions on career paths and leadership for 1000+ employees in the Southern Region. She then began pursuing her MBA while working for Admissions at Sullivan University in Louisville, KY. From there, Leyou worked in Employer Relations for the Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies candidates. In this role, she delivered presentations related to career readiness, such as resumes and networking, and cultivated many relationships with employers in the community. She lives by Verna Myers’ quote that “diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance” and strives to show that through her work. Leyou is excited to be in a role at Dartmouth that supports and encourages all student populations. She is a member of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

With 20 years of experience in higher education as an art professor, faculty member, student mentor, and advisor at The University of Alabama and Russell Sage College, Chris utilizes a student-centered approach that acknowledges the whole person, placing emphasis on personal vision, values, and goals. He brings familiarity with alternative career pathways, having been steeped in a liberal arts background both personally and professionally. In addition to helping students achieve their goals, Chris is an exhibiting artist and a published author. His book, “Nowhere in Place,” explores the intersection of photography and meditation. Before his career in higher education, he wore a wide range of professional hats in the Greater Boston Area including working for Parthenon, PG Media Group, and Polaroid. For hobbies, Chris enjoys the great outdoors and holding down the groove on electric bass guitar. Chris is excited to coach all students in whatever capacity best supports their personal career journeys.

With over seven years of experience working in higher education career services at New England College and Oregon State University – Cascades, Meghan is a career development professional passionate about helping college students navigate their unique pathways from college to career. A former recruiter, she is familiar with a wide variety of career pathways and is uniquely positioned to share a “behind the scenes” look at the hiring process, helping take the mystery out of job searching while inspiring confidence. Over the span of her career in higher education, Meghan has developed and taught three undergraduate and graduate-level courses on career planning, job search strategies, and professional skill development; and specializes in career and major exploration, resume development, interview preparation, personal branding, and career services programming. She believes strongly that intentional self-reflection is at the heart of all career planning activities, and is eager to support all Dartmouth students in achieving their personal and professional goals. An avid adventurer, Meghan enjoys snowboarding, hiking and backpacking her way through the NH 48 four-thousand footers, watching live music, and traveling with her family.

Peter draws upon a robust background in teaching and advising to engage students at all stages of their professional development and career exploration. He is familiar with a wide variety of career pathways, especially related to the humanities, arts, and academia, and is knowledgeable about graduate study and graduate school applications. Peter is eager to work with all students to encourage reflection on their personal and professional goals. Before coming to Dartmouth, he taught and oversaw the writing center at Fordham University and was a Program Coordinator on the GradFUTURES professional development team at The Graduate School at Princeton University. Peter holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from Fordham University, as well as an M.A. from New York University, and a B.A. (summa cum laude) from Goucher College. Originally from Maryland, Peter can often be found exploring new running trails, reading, playing with his dog, Obi, and trying to learn French (though his progress is glacially slow).

Monica has over 20 years of experience at Dartmouth in career development and talent acquisition. She led the development of our year-round employer relations efforts, and has pioneered new programming to support career education and development. Prior to joining Dartmouth College, Monica held management roles in Canada and the U.S. in marketing, business development and administration.

Anne oversees the Employer Relations team for the office. Anne enjoys building and maintaining relationships with employers from across industries, implementing creative and innovative ways to connect students and employers, and educating students and partners on recruiting trends.

Prior to Dartmouth, Anne worked at Duke University’s Career Center for 13 years and most recently managed the Employer Relations team for nine years.  She has also worked at the University of Miami and North Carolina State University’s Career Centers providing career guidance to undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni.

Anne has a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Education in Counselor Education.  As a former college tennis player, Anne continues to enjoy competing through the United States Tennis Association and is a Certified Personal Trainer.

Dave helps develop and implement service options for employers that fit the range of employer needs across industries. Dave serves as a primary contact for employer inquiries on effective ways to hire students. Prior to joining Dartmouth College, he managed a veterinary hospital, supported operations at an educational publishing company, dispatched rides for Americans with Disabilities at a public transit organization, as well as being a DJ on his hometown radio stations for a number of years. Dave was born and raised in local Enfield, NH and attended Syracuse University with a pursuit in Fine Arts: Music History & Cultures and Music Industry. In addition, he has lived in Boston, MA and Philadelphia, PA in his thirst to experience as much as life gives him. His love for the mountains and lush forests drew him back as he reaches to complete the New England four-thousand footers, which he aims to finish with his dog, Denali.

As Program Coordinator, Joe’s job is to keep things running smoothly and solve whatever problems may arise, whether they are related to system support, scheduling logistics, or internship funding.  Joe spent several years honing his customer service skills in various retail positions, before joining the Office of Student Development at Eastern University outside his home city of Philadelphia.  Most recently, he worked at Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering providing administrative support for a number of faculty members.

Ben is a ’26 from Lebanon, NH who is double majoring in History and Economics. Around campus, he is a part of Club Nordic skiing and is an associate editor of the Dartmouth Undergraduate Historical Review.

AT THE CPD: Ben started at the CPD in Spring Term 2023 and serves as the Student Engagement Intern. He finds internship and job opportunities for students of all backgrounds, and assists the CPD in making those opportunities more readily available to the student body.

Quinn was born in the Upper Valley, and, after attending Smith College and Duke University, returned to live and work in the area. She enjoys helping students connect to the resources and services they need.
